After rocking the Semi-Finals event at the beginning of the month, me and my live band have busted down the door to the grand finals of the indomitable Underdog event. I am so stoked about this.

Being that there’s been a mega buzz surrounding the event since the beginning of July, local Bristolians will likely already know about the huge The Underdog: 2017 | Grand Final battle of the bands competition.

In case it’s slipped through your net, acts making up Bristol’s hungry local-music underbelly have been clawing their way through the competition night after night for the past 2 months, fighting for the top spot and the chance to claim the £1,000 cash prize.

Now, having whittled the original 30-band strong line up down to 6 dope finalists, the podium is set at the coveted Bristol O2 Academy, where each act will pour blood, sweat and fiery passion in to their performances, vying for the votes of industry professionals and the audience members.

And if it’s anything like last year, this is looking to be a sell-out show, with an attendance of over 600 people.

There is also the major additional factor that the one and only IMPRINTS will be headlining the night, which is sure to be an awesome performance.

The event is on Saturday 2nd September from 6:30pm, with tickets available from myself (PM me on my facebook page, or contact me via this site) and also the ticketmaster official site here.

It’s £6 advanced general tickets, and £11 for VIP tickets which will gain you access to a private bar (no more long-assed queuing for one damn drink!)

VIP is not possible to purchase on the door, and general tickets will cost more there too. Plus the event is likely to sell out. So basically, buy in advance.

Following the whole event, there are two after parties planned. One for VIP ticket holders to be held at the O2, and one at The Fleece for general ticket holders. A third after party is also TBA.

So grab a ticket now and then check out the official event page for more info.

I want to see you there, screaming my words, throwing sweat on your neighbours and trying not to control yourself as I drag you in to my brainscape.

Peace (for now…)
